Features of professional self-determination of young people in modern social condi-tions

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the features of career guidance of young people in modern social conditions and the study of value orientations that influence the choice of a future profession by young people. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the study of the issue of changing the values of the new generation, as well as in highlighting the list of social barriers that prevent successful self-determination and self-realization of young people. The importance of the profession as a "business of life" is falling, and the reasons for this phenomenon should be sought in the change of values affecting professional self-determination, which is revealed in the article. The main emphasis is placed on studying the motivation and opinions of representatives of student youth. The author came to the conclusion that in modern society there are difficulties and specific features that affect the professional self-determination of young people, but representatives of the younger generation are determined to overcome these difficulties and need the help of qualified specialists.
